Structural analysis of embedded hollow tubes on straight and curved platforms under thermal loads

Tube systems are widely used in heat transfer and intensive research is being done on positioning tubes a platform. The platform structure constantly exposed to thermal changes under operating conditions the resulting stresses cause damage existing systems. In this study, 8 thin-walled were positioned flat curved platforms that stress behavior effects was investigated. Finite element analysis used, steady-state condition considered numerical investigation. of temperature difference between surfaces conductivity at tube It has been determined higher than increase increases drastically. increased coefficient surface reduced fatigue performance. Flat lower contact pressure better behavior. Results discussed detail.
